Surviving Alone

Like sand in an hourglass
we fell together.
Just two grains
falling one after the other.

Landing together in a heap.
Clinging together in a clump.
Molding together in the chaos.

Not believing that we
could ever survive alone.
One without the other
and completely on our own.

But it was possible.
Wasn’t it?

And I’m still okay.
Aren’t I?

  1. β€œLanding together in a heap.
Clinging together in a clump.
Molding together in the chaos.” I know this feeling. Very nicely expressed. Love πŸ’• Joni. Have a blessed night.
